Using Social Media to Discover Yourself

Once you step into the world of social networking via sites like Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn, it doesn’t take long to see how connected we all are. In the course of a day, you can easily interact with people around the globe who share your values and interests — as well as others who might be completely different from you.

Since many people I talk to are trying to figure out what to do next with there lives, I’d like to show you how social networking can aid you in this process.

Quite a few people have expressed to me a variation of “I don’t want to use Facebook because so many people who I don’t even know want to be my friend. I’d rather just interact with people I know.”

That view is shortsighted.
