Get Moving and You’ll Increase Your Cash Flow

If you are sitting still, you can’t move forward. That’s obvious. But many people go through their day in a rather sedentary way, keeping their mind busy and their body quiet. No momentum.

I bet if you look at your daily schedule you can find 20 minutes that you may consider "wasted." Well, if you used those 20 minutes to move your body, you will move yourself into a new energy level, and that will include increased cash flow. (Your money is an expression of your personal energy.)

You don’t need fancy equipment or clothes. You don’t have to join a gym. All you have to do is move so that your heart rate goes up for 20 minutes. Try one of these:

  • Walk around your neighborhood. You might even get to meet some of your neighbors.
  • Walk in place. This is a no brainer. While you are watching TV, stand up and enthusiastically walk in place. Lift your knees up high, if you can, and move your arms too.
  • Walk at a mall. Just walk, no shopping.
  • Use the stairs instead of an elevator if you work in a high-rise building.

While you are moving for 20 minutes, use a mantra to keep you focused on a positive outcome. With each step, say something like:

  • Yes. (This is one I use a lot.)
  • I can do it!
  • I can have whatever I want
  • I’m moving my life forward in a positive direction.

Once you make the decision to do this, you probably won’t do it every day, at first. Also, after about a week, you’ll probably start to lose interest. Changing a lifestyle habit takes time, patience, and determination. The key is to never condemn yourself for not following through. Just notice what you’ve done–or not done–and start again.

You can do it!
